WHY WE PLANTED
PF BIG GEORGE
PF Big George has earned its reputation by producing exceptionally large peaches with a deep red blush over golden-yellow skin. It is the kind of peach that makes an immediate impression before you ever take the first bite.
Inside, the firm yellow flesh delivers the sweet, juicy flavor people expect from a tree-ripened summer peach. Its combination of size, color, texture and dependable production made it a natural fit for our Pawnee County orchard.

THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME
THE FLAMIN’ FURY LEGACY
The Flamin’ Fury peach series was developed through decades of selective breeding associated with Michigan peach breeder Paul Friday. The program focused on fruit size, strong red color, dependable orchard performance and outstanding eating quality.
PF Big George became one of the recognizable members of the series because of its ability to produce especially large, attractive peaches without giving up the sweet flavor and firm texture growers and peach lovers value.
